INFORMATION
TRAVEL REFUND
We cannot provide travel refund.
AIRPORT TRANSPORT
The organization committee will
arrange to have you picked up on Tuesday the 12th from the airport of Vigo
(Peinador) and will take you to the Workshop Center
(Pazo de Sotomaior). Please send us your flight details so we can make
arrangements for you.
ARRIVING
BY CAR
If you are travelling by car,
your goal is to get to the town of Arcade.
Arcade is on the N-505 coastal road, between Vigo and Pontevedra. Once you are in Arcade, ask for the "Castillo de
Soutomaior". It is about 10
Km. inland on a hill.
MEALS
The organization of the Workshop
will provide the following meals: June 12, 13, 14 and 15. Please let us
know if you need any particular arrangement concerning your meals.
CLIMATE & CLOTHING
June is usually one of the most
pleasant summer month in Galicia. As a general rule, days
should be warm and evenings quite temperate. Casual clothing is
recommended.
THE WORKSHOP
All Workshop sessions will be
held at the Pazo de Soutomaior, in the castle. The language of the congress
will be English. Please read the tips on preparing for the workshop on the
conference website, and note that sessions will start and finish on time.
SOCIAL PROGRAM
We will organize a special
dinner on Wednesday night. The cost of it is about 30 euros. On Thursday we
will organize a white water rafting in the Miño River.
The rafting is enjoyable and not at all dangerous.
Past participants have enjoyed it tremendously. If you are interested,
bring your bathing suit and suitable footwear you don’t mind getting wet.
The cost of the trip is also 30 euros.
