	The Research Group in Economic Analysis (RGEA) was created in May 2002 and is located at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Vigo. The objective of RGEA is to promote and develop academic excellence in economic research. This global project works closely in collaboration with other national and international research groups and centers. RGEA also builds its activities by hosting visitors regularly, conducting workshops, conferences and advanced courses. The “Xunta de Galicia”, Dirección Xeral de Promoción Científica e Tecnológica do Sistema Universitario de Galicia has recognized RGEA for its research excellence and has awarded RGEA with a grant DOG: Nº 169, 14.581 (Diario Oficial de Galicia) de 16 de abril 2007, “Programa de Consolidación y Estructuración de Unidades de Investigación Competitivas del Sistema Universitario Gallego” to fund investigator-driven research, innovation and development. Its members cover different areas of economic analysis: general equilibrium theory, game theory, macroeconomic theory, applied theory and industrial organization. They are also involved in several research projects funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology, Xunta de Galicia including other public and private institutions. Our members publish in a wide range of core leading economic journals; for example, recent publications include articles in the International Economic Review, Games and Economic Behaviour, Journal of Public Economics, Economic Theory, Journal of Mathematical Economics and Journal of Economic Dynamics and Control, among others. Together with the Instituto de Estudios Económicos de Galicia (Fundación Pedro Barrié de la Maza Conde de Fenosa) RGEA organizes the Workshop on Dynamic Macroeconomics that has become one of the most significant meeting points for researchers in macroeconomics world-wide.
