The Master in Management of Sutainable Development is directed by Xavier Labandeira, Professor of Economics at the University of Vigo.The Secretary of the Academic Commission and Head of Studies is Pilar Piñeiro, Senior Lecturer of Business Management at the University of Vigo. Rocío Rodríguez-Daponte, Senior Lecturer of Business Management at the University of Vigo, is in charge of the training period in firms. One of the main strengths of the MGDS that make us different to the rest of the market is the quality of our teachers. The teaching staff of the Master is made up of over 40 specialists in various aspects of sustainable development. 40% of them are renowned academics in the field, from the University of Vigo as well as from other Spanish universities. The remaining 60% are reputed private professionals, members of the public sector and various organizations concerned with sustainable development. These professionals not only give lectures but are also in charge of full subjects where they teach how to carry out sustainable management and development in case studies.
