We are pleased to announce that the XXIV edition of the Jornadas de Economía Industrial (JEI2009) will be held at the School of Economics and Management of the Universidade de Vigo, on 24-25 September, 2009. |
The Jornadas de Economía Industrial is an annual meeting of researchers in theoretical and applied Industrial Economics initiated in 1985. This meeting will offer the opportunity to bring together researchers presenting and discussing their current contributions. Senior and young economists are encouraged to participate in the event. A series of talks, each of which will be assigned a discussant, will be given in the course of the event. |
Two invited parallel sessions will take place on the following topics: |
- Health economics chaired by Albert Ma (Boston University) |
- Trade and Productivity chaired by Mark Roberts (Penn State University) |
The plenary session by Ariel Pakes (Harvard University) entitled: "Simple Ways of Analyzing Complex Applied Problems; a Static and a Dynamic Example" is planned for September 25th. |
