bulletPROGRAMMABLE DIGITAL SYSTEMS 2

          4º year of the Electronics special field of the Telecommunications Engineer Curriculum.

60 hours of theory.

          In this course we deal with the following topics:

bulletInternal architectures of PLDs and FPGAs.
bulletDigital System Design with Programmable Logic (PLDs and FPGAs).
bulletVHDL for synthesis.
bulletDesign Tools.
bulletPLD and FPGA applications.

 

bulletPROGRAMMABLE DIGITAL SYSTEMS LABORATORY 2

          4º year of the Electronics special field of the Telecommunications Engineer Curriculum.

60 hours of laboratory.

In this course we deal with the following topics:

bulletInternal architecture of FPGA families, from Xilinx.
bulletXilinx Foundation ISE tool.
bulletApplication development  with Xilinx FPGAs and Digilent boards.

EMBEDDED MICROPROCESSORS IN FPGAs

3º year of the Electronics special field of the Telecommunications Engineer Curriculum.

60 hours (30 theory + 30 laboratory).

In this course we deal with the following topics:

bulletSystem On Chip (SOC) concept.
bulletDesign and Implementation methods for embedding microprocessors in FPGAs.
bulletXilinx Picoblaze microcontroller.
bulletApplication development tools for the Picoblaze microprocessor.
bulletPractical applications.
