Date and Venue

II ISMS09 Conference will be held on 27-30 April in Vigo, in the Centro Social Caixanova, located in the center Street Policarpo Sanz, nº 24-26. Monday, 27 April, at 08:30 documentation will be collected at the venue.

The city

Vigo is the most populated city in the Galician Region, and is situated in the most southerner Galician Rías. It is an industrial and lively city with the first European fishing harbor. There is a good motorway network, and Peinador airport is only 9 km away from the city centre. Otherwise, Santiago de Compostela International airport is 90 km away and it will take you an hour by car, or arriving at Oporto International airport (in Portugal) will take you an hour and a quarter by motorways.

Languages

Congress will be in English and Spanish. Abstracts could be written in both languages.

Restaurants

Many restaurants, which are found in large numbers in the venue surrounding area, offer relatively inexpensive menus for lunch and dinner. Selected restaurants could also be found in the same area.
Many restaurants and cafés have terraces, which are perfect places for a chat.

Meal timetables will be from 13:30 to 15:30 h.

Foreign entry Requirements

Citizens of the 27 member states of the European Union do not need a visa. Participants from other countries should check their documents needs in the Spain Embassy, as they could vary depend on the home country.
