Travelling

  • By plane: The airport of Peinador in Vigo (20 min) and Labacolla in Santiago (40 min) are near to Pontevedra by the A-9 motorway. There are daily connections with Madrid and Barcelona, and with other Spanish cities and with London, Paris, Geneva and Frankfurt.

  • By train: There are daily connections with Madrid, Barcelona and interconnecting services to other Spanish and Portuguese cities. See the map of Pontevedra to find out the location of railroad station (in red at the botton right corner).

  • By car: Pontevedra lies on the A-9 motorway which crosses Galicia from Corunna to Vigo. From these two cities, run two highways joining Galicia to Spain’s central plain, Madrid and other Spanish cities.
